Which brings me to my question. As I'm sure you guys know my truck is equipped with a catyletic converter and a muffler on a 4" exhaust. I was planning on moving up to a 6" exhaust and deleting the cat and moving to a high flow muffler. But since it is all mechanical what will the major decrease in back pressure do to the air fuel ratio?
4" straight pipe is more than enough. My boss at my second job runs a 4" straight pipe on his 1000hp fummins.

Well Tundra isnt the only POS on the roads today.

Chevy makes these ugly looking plastic trash cans called the avalanche

Like really why did Chevy make such rubbish and who was the guy in the office drinking when he thought of this monstrosity?

And Honda? really? Im stopping at this.

The lower cladding was only for the first or second year due to the amount of ridicule lobbed at GM.

It was standard for like 2 years, like you say VDub.
Then it was optional, and the regular trucks got the updated front end.

Now it's gone.
I do wish the whole vehicle would go away, most useless thing ever.

they can't even tow at rated capacity!

had a customer at a shop I used to work at about 10 years ago have one of those abominations and he towed his 19' ski boat with it... this boat wasn't that heavy....less than 500# tongue weight...

he got pulled over by a state trooper thinking his hitch was falling off....oh no...the hitch wasn't falling off...it was firmly attached to the frame...the frame was bent! less than 500# on the factory class 5 hitch bent the frame!!!

it was actually a serious problem with those things in the early 2000 models... frame didn't have much structural support or strength in the back and would easily bend...

a couple adults standing on the rear bumper would likely be enough to bend the frame down.

So in other words, I should pass that lovely tidbit of information on to my friend who drives what used to be his dad's Avalanche?
