I am looking at a 94 2500 V10 regular cab, 108000 miles. It has transmission trouble at the moment so the price is small enough. I know the MPG'S is going to be low but can't be much lower than my little 318. Last tank of gas done just over 5 1/2 mpg.
Would this be a good truck or would a truck with OBD II be a better buy like maybe better mpg or are they all the same.
Any advice is welcome.

If you don't mind tranny work and the rest of the truck is good I would give it a go. 108K and V10 sounds awesome.

 

V10 is a good power base but there are approximately 0 aftermarket options/parts.

So if modding is you're thing it's not the best.

If you want a gas tow/haul rig it would be great. I'd prefer a diesel but I'm also buding my gasser 1500 into a 2500 so I'm a hypocrite.
