Default Interesting power locks issue

Ok so here's a new one....my power locks will not work on either door switch, although it DOES make the noise when I try to lock and unlock it on both doors, but the remote (key fob) DOES lock and unlock both doors just fine. Any ideas where my issue might be or what to check on first?

my first thought was your actuators, but then you said the fob works without issue... so it makes no sense to me, other than maybe a switch error.. /failure / stuck?

if the fob works, then it proves the actuators work, as well as the basic wiring to them. if one or more of the door switches don't work, then it could be the door switch or the wiring.

the door switches have a interconnecting traveler wire, same as a 3 way light switch in the house. if it fails, it might take them both out. start by digging directly into the wiring where it passes into the doors at the door hinge. this is the most common place for it to break.

you'll need a multimeter. if you don't already have one, a simple $15-20 version that shows voltage and continuity is fine. digital or analog doesn't matter.
