Default Rebuild Instead of 440 Swap

So guys i got to thinkin about it all, and i have just decided to rebuild the 360 and not do the 440 swap. but of course i am going to not just rebuild it back to stock....

This is what i have planned, tell me if im missing anything.

-Full Gasket Set-$144
-Piston Rings set-$115
-High Flow Oil Pump-$80
-Hi-performance lifters-$200
-Main bearings-$63
-valve spring retainers-$64
-550 lift spirings-$95
-Hyd Roller Whiplash Cam-$400
-Intake bolt set-$22
-Re-use FI AirGap-$0
-Re-use Pacesetter Headers-$0
-Modify my Throttle body-$0
-Optima battery
-Harland Sharp Rockers-$300
-Valves are to be determined...
-Push rods are to be determined...

New parts already in use with less than 1000 miles on them. I will re-use.
-water pump
-all TB sensors
-o2 sensors
-coolant sensors
-double roller timing chain and gears
-distributor and camshaft sensor
-crank position sensor
-Spark Plugs
-Cap & Rotor
-Spark Plug Wires

let me know what yal think.

A little on the expensive side but if I were to rebuild a 360 for performance, I would build a 408.

+1 on the rebuild of the 360 and the use of a stroker kit. If you were considering a 440 swap, looks like the increased engine displacement is going by the wayside. If you are going to go through the trouble of rebuilding the 360, include a stoker kit - you will be glad you did..

stroker kit alone for a 408 is like 2k. im just building this 360 to be what i want, and still stay with the factory power plant.

Understandable. If that's the case, I believe you are on the right track. I would also add an SCT Tuner and I've heard an offroad Y pipe from jegs is a great upgrade as the stock Y pipe is very restrictive. It's on my wish list for future mods

thats true on a ram like yours, but this is actually on my ram charger. same motor but obdI so i cant do a tuner. and the y-pipe on ramchargers are like 3" they are freakin huge, no restriction in my exhaust at all. its still a beast how it is, but the comprression is gettin to low and droppin below the minimum. and if im gonna rebuild it then i wanna build it the way i want it :P

Stroker kit can be had for about $1250. Check these folks out, if interested.

thanks but id rather just keep it the 360ci and just rebuild it up right. what you think a 360 would be puttin out at the crank with a fresh rebuilt motor, cam, intake manifold, bigger throttle body, headers? just throw some guesses out there, cuz i mean stock its only puttin out like what was it 200ish for a 93?
