frustrated
Thanks to bulldodgemoe for the post
On our farms around here we have to cross creeks. Here is a photo underneath below right bumper, that my mechanic changed out a steering stabilizer dampner (bulldodgemoe's post), looks like a long shock (I'm correct I think). I want to make sure so I can tell Jackie when he gets the truck it's taken some hits on the rocks (since changed out). I've hit this thing before (rock several times and bent the arm). Probably the best way to cure this issue is taller tires and lift it. I think my guy put a Monroe back on there.
All the other steering components appear in good working order (although
I have banged it around over the years). There's no death wobble, never has been. However, my drives in this thing might have been 8 miles here and there and seldom above 70. I think before I let it go for his test run Wednesday is drive it on the interstate (30 miles from my house).
If you guys think of something else I need to check on steering let me know (yes it'll be washed). K.
