I plan on repainting my 1999 dodge ram sport extended cab this summer. I was wondering how much epoxy primer, base, and clear I will need. Also, do I need to do something like a 2k high build. I was planning originally on epoxy primer, body work, epoxy primer, then base, then clear. However, Im painting black and if its going to show if I don't use high build and block it, then ill make sure I get some of that too.

 

I did a quick internet search (which is free by the way, and anyone can do it) for "How much paint is required to paint a Dodge Ram", most hits say it takes about a gallon.
