Hello! I have a 2000 Quad Cab Ram that I've owned since new and am getting it fixed up for my daughter when she gets her license. The doors are pretty rotted and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for where I could find new ones? I will need all four.

LMC truck may have the parts, but if you can find a good donor vehicle at a junk yard, it'll probably be cheaper to buy the doors off of it.

Either a wrecking yard, or as said above LMC Truck. I have bought quite a few things for my 2000 Quad Cab Ram from them. They have everything needed to restore a truck.


I just looked in my LMC truck catalog, for the front door shells there $400 dollars each. A wrecking yard would probably be a better place to look.

 

Unfortunately LMC's door shell only fits standard cab or extended. NOT Quad. Quad doors have a 90 degree rear bottom corner. Where as the ones they sell are the curved bottom.

 

Find an internet auction. Bid for a like Ram quad cab truck (the same color), that has no door damage. Swap the doors, touch up the paint and give her the keys. Then you can sell your purchase with rotted doors, (or squirrel the engine & tranny, and sell the carcass for scrap).

Cost for this option about $800. Sell the scrap $275 (haul it with her Ram). You're in the hole $525.

 

Look on ebay! You can find the lower door skins for the quad cabs on there...I'm planning on ordering up a pair of these to fix my doors in the future when i'm ready for a full paint job.
