Interesting thing I found on my build sheet for the white truck I just got. The truck is white in color, but the paint has worn through in a couple of spots on the bed and on the outside edge of the door. It's clear that my truck used to be red. Got my build sheet for the truck yesterday, from the factory, it was white in color. I'm guessing it went from White to Red back to White.

 

Either that or it's been in a collision on the side before you got it, and they took parts off a red Ram.

 

More that likely this or it could be replacements due to rust.
