I'm feeling like a kid again! I ordered some headlights, grille assembly, bumper, carpet, and i found a hood locally for $100. I know it may not sound like much, but i'm looking forward to putting it on and spending some time with my sons (and daughter if she wants) "wrenching" on my truck!

 

I know when I was raising the girls, I had one who wanted all the pagent stuff and one who rode go carts, and wrenched with Dad. These old trucks are great teaching moments, (mine back then was a 67 Ford with a 351 Windsor). Today, the youngest drives a Ford car and her boyfriend has a Ford truck.

I have an old 98 Ram 1500, but it's just stock and will stay that way. If you get a chance, go to the pic w***e post and take a look on page 151 at dman12323 post of 4/04. He's got a sharp lifted 98 single cab truck. Glad you are enjoying the truck and family time (they grow up quick). Good luck on the motor. K.
