I should correct myself. In the county I lived in in Iowa it is 7%. The county that has the capitol has several rates depending on the location in the county and it's a mess to file sales tax. You pay the tax rate for the county that the customer lives in (unless it is a walk in retail store), not for the county your business is in. That goes for internet sales as well. In the capitol county there is 6, 6.25 and 6.5% and it's a PITA to keep track of it.
There is no law that says you must report a ticket from one state, in a different state. If the two states reciprocate points, they will tell the other state, if they don't, then it is irrelevant.
I had my license suspended in ohio for 90 days, but, as I have a Michigan drivers license, and Michigan and Ohio do not reciprocate, I could still drive legally anywhere EXCEPT Ohio. And I did.

Get pulled over for speeding, show the lic from the other state... they could fine you, but not take points because the lic was out of their jurisdiction (no sharing info back then).
Some weeks most of my pay was fines :-/ but never lost a point.
Way back when, it was the same in Australia... being in the Navy, I had a lic in my home state, and I got one in the state I was posted in.

Similar to here but opposite world. I.E. Right hand drive cars, funny accents, and June is their winter.
Spent a week in 'Oz back in 1990 in the Perth/Freemantle area. They had some bad-*** looking muscle cars, and boy-oh-boy were the ladies cute. Rather than hamburger joints littering the landscape, their fare was anything mutton because sheep are the livestock of choice (due to the harsh terrain).
I have an open invite to visit a friend in Sydney. His flat is walking distance to a local brewery.

And mutton ain't that bad lol.
I was curious, couple months ago I was checking out a college down there in NSW for a 3-year course, met the requirements to be able to migrate to 'down under', but I don't like the idea of a dinner-plate-sized daddy-long-leg haha. That would freak me out.
