HID's need help

I got mine from motorfiend and I'm happy. It's true the higher the Kelvin, the less visibility, but my 8000K HID's are still leaps and bounds better than my old halogen, and I had bright headlights before. The only complaint I have is if it's raining it reflects all the light back, and if its snowing, they are horrible. But thats what I have the fog lamps for. I hope sometime this summer to replace all 6 of my KC's with HID's as well.

your best light output will be 4300k

If youre going to do HIDS wrong, you might as well do them the right wrong way. If you want to do them the right right way, order some sport headlights or clear euro lights and throw these (or an even better projector) in there:

I saw a guy in the pic thread that did a retrofit with those in sport housings, but there wasn't much info.
