I just recently installed the overhead console with the temp gauge and electrochromatic mirror. I cant get the console to come on. I have double checked my wiring and tried two different consoles. I have the power wire BL/WH and the power wire for the mirror hooked up to the fuse for the console. The mirror works, but not the console. I opened it up and it looks like the buttons on the board have melted. I tried jumping the leads with no luck. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like you fried something if the "buttons are melted". Probably ruinied.
