I am looking for a canopy for my truck, nothing fancy. Found a nice used Leer 122, cheap and made for a 2nd gen RAM short bed. Problem is the canopy is white and my truck is black.

Do you think this will look OK, or would you hold out for a black canopy or ****** this one up (it is cheap) and paint it black?

 

White is a generic color that goes with any color truck, imo. I have a white one for my green truck. That being said, I only use it occasionally. If I were to have it installed all the time, I would probably paint it to match the truck. It's really up to you, personal preference. If you don't mind it being wihte, leave it alone. If you want others to tell you what to do with your truck, then I'm sure some will.

 

I don't much care for this tops as it is. But if it's yore cheap you could buy it. Spray paint it and no one would probabkly care.


As my old man says, "you couldn't see it riding by on a galloping horse" then its good

 

You can always paint it. If it's really a good buy otherwise, I'd say get it.
