A couple more projects completed over the past few days. Noticed a slight clicking sound from 20 and above, turns out my passenger side u-joint was pretty shot.

Also replaced the two rear shocks before my road trip this weekend.

Installed Sound Deadening on both sides and the rear of the cab. Seems to make a nice difference in damping exterior noise and helps with the quality of the sound system. Also picked up some new trim clips so my door panels stay in place again.

Nice! Did you put the sound deadener in your doors too? How about a sound mat under the carpet? I should probably do this to my truck next time I have the interior out.

Yup! In the front two doors as well. Have not done under the carpet but I bet if you did that and on the roof it would make a very noticeable difference. I'm hoping it helps a bit with keeping heat in during the winter as well.

Yeah, I hope it helps you keep the heat in when winter comes. You're a lot farther North than me...

I'm actually thinking about taking my head liner out... The cloth just hangs down, and the previous owner installed an aftermarket moonroof, and he cut out huge sections of the foam backing that the cloth should connect to...

Went to the junk yard to find window weather stripping since mine was rusted out. Couldn't find any so I found a 90's Chevy set, which are all plastic, and cut them down to fit the dodge. Really happy with the results and it just cost me $10 cash at the junk yard.

Little update. The leather on my steering wheel was shot but I also don't like the look of the slip on covers. So I gave a $7 stitch on one a shot and am really happy with the outcome

Awesome! Where did you get that?

The leather on my wheel is so disintegrated it leaves black stuff on my hands. Got a cover on it now, but it slips and slides...

Mine was doing the same thing! No way in cleaning it too cause it would just rub more away.

This is the one I got. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

But they have a ton of different styles on amazon.
