Default Flying a Flag.

So I am trying to fly a flag from the bed of my truck for the fourth. I have a bed cover on with a opening door, and its a pain to take off. Does any one have a suggestion on how I can fly it without taking the cover off?

Use a receiver mount flag pole holder. See them all the time at college football games. Walmart I know has them, also seen them at Harbour Freight I think. In Athens, Ga. I've even seen them in quickies during football season.

Or for that matter make one. Weld a round pipe to a square pipe, drill hitch pin hole in square pipe, drill/tap a hole for a screw to hold flag pole in and tight. That's a 30 min job at most...

As said above, but also another option is in the stake bed pocket. I prefer the either of the front ones and neither present view issues with mirrors. Unless you're going to run some super huge full length size. lol

I guessing his bed cover doesn't give him access to the stake pockets...

That is correct. *edit* I forgot to mention my trailer hitch did rust off.

In that case, I'd say you are gonna have to fab something up. What about the ball hole in the bumper?

I could probably fit it through there. I might have to fab something if it doesnt work.

Might be simple as shoving a length of PVC through hole with a bolt through it to stop it and flag from falling through...
