Default 360 nv 3500 combo test after 3500 miles

Its been about 3500 miles since I swapped my 318(366,000mi) out for a 360(80,000mi). The nv3500 in the truck is actually out of a 95 dodge, which I believe is a stronger transmission than the 2001 nv 3500, something was changed around 1998 or 1999 in the nv 3500 for smoother shifting but iv broke 2 of them with the 318 pretty easily. So anyways iv been running the 360 with shorty headers, 410 gears, kegger mod, home ported throttle body, 12in clutch with the stock 318 computer and its been running better and better. It is SCT tuned but that was for the 318 computer, so I'll still have to figure the computer situation out when I get more cash. After 3500 miles, I have been hard on the trans a bunch of times and its holding up ok. Already burned through a u joint tho. I'm running 285s and still in second gear from a dead stop it spins and wheel hops.

All my Buddy's have trucks. Last night we are going down to a party out in the country and we lined up on a open road you we used to mess around on. They had a 1995 Cummins 5 speed 4x4 that's got mods but also has 550,000 and the other buddy was driving a 1997 ford f 250 lifted on 35s power stroke automatic, yea everybody wants diesels around here. Sorry, no videos, but my 360 walked both of them!! The powerjoke and I stayed side by side until 35ish but when I shifted to 3rd it was all over for him. His truck tops out at around 90ish and i went wellllll over that, the Cummins was actually worse than the ford in a drag race, but he has to shift a lot, we all know that 12v can pull anything it wants. I'm just pleased with the way my truck is coming out and so far, the nv 3500 is holding up!!
