My adventures with the old 97 Laramie 5.9 are better than most from what I here here.

Just replaced the belt tentioner and the other things connected thanked me.

 

...I got almost as much into the tires than I spent on the Truck.
To make a long story shorter; a couple thousand into the front end. Suspension parts and bearings. Exhaust blows but made it worth keeping.
