Default Test pipe vs high flowcat

Which would sound better highflow cat or removing cat and straight piping it. Would there be a torque loss by running no cat? Please Let me know the pros and cons of both.

You could lose some torque and hp but the biggest thing that will take a hit is fuel economy

You'll have to deal with the rear o2 sensor issue you create when you have no cat. I'd suggest an aftermarket cat with a dual catback exhaust. You can get plenty loud by the muffler you choose, although I'd recommend middle of the road - really loud gets annoying to both you driving it and your neighbors witnessing you drive it. I've been using AP stuff for a while. Good stuff, great pricing.

BTW the AP cat back tailpipes are mandrel bent, super smooth and fit pretty good. I bought a stainless muffler, front extension pipe, two tails and all the clamps for $183 shipped - a couple years ago. I ended up getting a different front extension pipe because the PO had screwed up the pipe in front - so I just cut his mess off and welded the longer pipe on. Good luck !
