Cool small rant

My 97 Laramie has a caliper that's stuck, that's about the 3rd time I've had this happen on different trucks. . First time was a 79 Lil Red back in the day. I hate disc brakes w/ a passion, rotors, calipers give me drums any 'ol day. Didn't put brakes on my Super Bee til 60,000. But alas the good days & brakes are all gone by. I read the muscle car forms as well these guys are spending $$$$$ on disc brakes but never have enough to do paint or bumpers or.... Just off on a terror set off by dealing w/ XM for a couple days. Why has America been so afraid to deal face to face ear to ear w/ customers???

Well brakes are probably the most important thing on a car. Drums are nice but don't have the stopping power of discs. Companies like to hide (especially ****ty companies like Dormant) because they know they will get yelled at if they have a store.

You sure it isn't your soft line? I had that happen on my 3rd gen 2 times before I decided to check the soft line

X2! You live in the rust belt, My soft line got crimped by the metal support brackets holding it. It rusted up squashing the hose and limited the amount of fluid that could flow threw it(keeping pressure in the line).

I don't know, work on it next week but I have couple other calipers stick, just prefer drums. I don't drive hard. My other 1500 has been having line issues, RUST but @ 266,000 to be expected up here. There both sound.
