Default Ram 3500 1995 parking Lamp dosn't work/fry fuses

Hi, I have a problem with m'y parking Lights (tail Lights, markers and dash Lights) on my 1995 Ram 3500 (cab and chassis). First, I inspect the wire, my lights and every things look okay. I let a shop look at it and they say my headlamp switch was shorting to Ground. I order a new switch and install it. Now my parking Lamp simply dont work at all. My fuse is good. Any Idea ? Bad switch ? Also, I ear the relay clicking, so I assume it's good

There was a recall on the headlight switch for your truck. They heat up and melt due to the extra lights on the 3500(2500 also but there was no recall on them ???). You need to replace the switch and the connector that goes on the back. Part of the recall was a harness with relays to remove the amp load from the switch. I doubt they are still available from the factory but i believe you can get them aftermarket.

If the harness was installed why did the shop say it was shorting to ground? Inspect both the connector with the terminals that goes on the back of the switch and the switch itself. If no issues then you will have to start checking voltage and see where the issue is.
