A518 rebuild
I have a 1997 dodge ram 1500 5.2 2wd pickup. Had the transmission rebuilt. They used dextron 6 after I ask them to use atf4. It wasn't shifting right and now there's a bad thump that gets worse as the truck warms up. When im taking off from a red light or running in overdrive it shudders really bad. I've changed plugs, wires and plan on changing distributor today. My question is could the transmission cause this. There are no codes, gonna check motor mounts also. Any ideals. Gonna make appointment with tranny shop. I really don't trust them
