Could you post a picture of the inside of your cab? I have a single cab as well and I'm wondering how yours looks with a CB in it.

 

This is the only one i have, and the camera is no longer in one piece, you can still see it though. if you mount it low enough, the only big isue is the ashtray, but it still opens all the way, the mic cable is just in the way sort of. i just ran the antenna wire through the back window, and then wired the cb to a cigarette-lighter thing, and plugged it into the power outlet one, that has constant power, so you can turn the cb on even when the keys arent in the truck.

Nice, but it looks like in the photo that it blocks the flip down cup holder. Does it?

Hi guys, I'm new to the board but not new to 2nd gen. Rams though. This is my third one as you can see from my signature. I've just recently gotten over the shock of giving my father my 05 Silverado (hand picked; it was my baby) in order to free myself from a debt that I had with him that has gone on for too long. The deal included him giving me his 98 Ram; so in the end the numbers came out perfectly in reference to values and such. The 5.2 is taking some getting used to since coming from a 300+ (the say at the crank) HP truck to this rig. Over the last two weeks its become sort of a fun project truck and I'm really having fun just messing around with it. Some backgroud on this truck. My Dad used to work for a Dodge dealership and had special ordered this truck for himself. He kept it very close to stock over the years. It had a fake dual exhaust that I just had removed today with a single side swept that I'm much happier with. The cat was all clogged and trashed so that was replaced today as well. I've already swapped out the clutch fan with two electric fans; one pusher and one larger puller. I'm starting to see a difference already. I changed over to the Q syntheic "truck" oil with some syn. Lucas and Marvel mystery oil mixed in. Syn. power steering and brake fluids as well. Shampoo'd the interior and painted some dash parts that Dad had practiced doing some simulated wood grain on (didn't go with the truck at all). We just got a new dash to put on due to this one looking like the Grand Canyon. Overall the truck is very sound and I'm enjoying it!
