LMC Clear Headlights - Pics and Review
Ok, not sure if this would be tech or not so I just put it in the GD section.
I, like many Ram owners, had glazed over headlights. While stock replacements would have worked, I also wanted to give my truck a bit of a face lift and not go with the stock frosted lenses. I liked the look of the clear lenses but have had less than stellar results with aftermarket lighting so I chose to go with the housings sold by LMC that look similar to the lights found on the sport Rams but are dual beam rather than quads, so they are a direct bolt in. While the price tag of $199.99 is a bit high compared to some lights on the market, I thought buying from LMC would 1) mean the product would be of better quality and 2) if I was dissatisfied I may have an easier time making a return.
Here is a quick shot of my Ram with the stock headlights and foglights (Both glazed over)

The new lights came packed well (sorry no pic of that) and arrived in perfect shape.
Another quick pic of the light before the install. It's not listed in the ad but the lights came with Philips bulbs installed.

Here is a shot of the old headlights and how poor the beams were. This is from about 10 feet away from the wall. The bulbs in there are not that old, they just have the yellow tint from the bad lenses.

If you have ever removed and installed your headlights you know that it can be a pain to get them in and out, the new ones go in just as hard, but the bolt holes and pin line up well. The turn signals take some shimming but they fit.
Here is a comparison of the two, Left light is the new clear one, Right is the old one. This was taken outside the cab, so the windshield in not affecting the color.

And here is the new ones together. Note how much cleaner and defined the beams are and the cutoff at the top is very sharp.

I am very happy with them. They put out better light than the old ones and the light pattern actually looks like someone put thought into their design. They do have adjustment screws (much better than the old ones) and were easy to fine tune. Both high and low beams throw out a good pattern. I drove down a few dirt roads and the lights did not have any shutter to them and stayed steady with the movement of the truck. Forgot to mention they are indeed DOT approved which I figured they would be but its just nice to know for sure.
And finally, they just look awesome!

So in closing, if you are looking for an upgrade in both style and (in the case of crap lenses) light output, I suggest you take a look at these. They are worth the price.

I'll try and grab one tonight. We are forecast to have dense fog tonight so we'll see how that goes, haha.
Is that a single bulb or a dual?
Looks like a single but I can't tell because of the reflection.
If you could get your hands on some factory Sport corners, it would look totally stock. Good job.
I want some now though.

They are in fact single bulb housings, the refection does make it tricky in that picture. As for the corners, I'm going to leave them the way they are now, since I kind of like them. But at the very least I need to change the fogs over to sport ones so at least they match.

Looks good.
As for changing the fogs, the 99+ fogs are different than the 95-98 fogs. The bulbs are a different style number and thusly have a different connector. I wanted to change mine to the new-style too till I found out that I would have to cut off the stock connector.

Good luck upgrading though, a write-up would be nice.

I second that! My headlights are the same, just put new SilverStar Ultra's in and you can't tell it...I get better light from the walmart cheapo off road lights (glass, halogen)....Too bad the trucker's don't like it.....
