I thought this could be a cool thread. Post up pics of a part if you are unsure exactly what it is, or if you think it will stump everyone. Maybe we coukd also direct newbies this way instead of having new threads everyday asking what this is.

What is this think mounted to my frame and connected to my rearend?

Rear, brake height sensing or a brake bias valve.

If it's leaking, you can eliminate it. I hear that's what the dealers do. You just need a different brake hose. That part new is like 600 bucks. If they are even available anymore.

Nothing seems to be wrong with mine. I was just crawling underneath and inspecting everything when i saw it and thought, "What the hell is the purpose of this gizmo?"

Merc now its your turn to post a picture of an obscure part and see if anyone else can guess it.

roller bearing, fairly large, i'd guess rear axle.
