Bucking Problem
Back in Jan. I posted about my pickup surging a bit while stopped in Drive. The recommendation that I got was to replace my TPS sensor, which I did while I took off my TB and cleaned it and cleaned the MAN sensor ( I think that is what it is called). It seemed to fix the problem, until now.
I am experiencing a good amount of bucking while stopped in Drive and on occasion it will die. If it is in park or neutral there is no problem at all. So I thought I would try to replace the TPS again and see what happened. That did not seem to help. My buddies think it could possibly be a torque converter that is bad, but I have had good luck with you guys and wanted some ideas from all of you. Thanks so much. If I need to get you more information please do not hesitate to ask.
Not sure if it is linked but there does seem to be a leak of transmission fluid. It is accumulating on the transmission pan over night, not sure exactly the origin. Looking for suggestions on what to do next. Thanks.

make sure you have a gasket that goes between your throttle body and air filter enclosure (Air Cleaner Mounting Gasket) , or else crap will just get to your throttle body components like the IAC, guess you have to clean it again.
as for your leak on the transmission, drain, adjust bands, change filter change gasket and add right trans fluid, ATF +4

I did replace the gasket b/t the TB and Intake when I changed the TPS and cleaned the IAC last time. So you are recommending to clean the IAC again, and see if the bucking continues?
In regards to the leak you do not think it is related to the bucking issue I have, which I guess is a good thing. So I need to drain my Trans fluid, got that. Then adjust my bands...how do I go about that? Is that a job that I might be able to do by myself or should I take it in to a shop. I have just recently started working on my own pickup. I can research it and find out as well. Thanks for the help, this board has been great
