My father has a 94 1500 SLT that he would sell to me, but it has the manual adjust mirrors. I would really like to change to power mirrors, preferrably the 98-01 style. Is this a difficult switch, or is it something that can be done in a few hours?

 

I don't know about the 94 but I replaced the manual mirrors on my 96 RAM 1500 with factory power mirrors (correct ones for that year). I searched around ebay for the mirrors and the switch. Once I got these parts the whole job took 15 minutes total. The factory wiring was already there. Just three bolts for each mirror and plugged them into the connectors. Worked right away.
