John Mercedes now has longtubes for the 4x4's. Not sure if he is offering them to the public yet, or if they are still in testing. I'm sure they won't be as affordable as shorties, but might be worth the price. I'm curious to see how he shapes them, escpecially for the driver side.
i think he had them back when zeek was waiting for them.. 1..maybe 2 years ago?
They were just in development then. I spoke with him just a few months ago, and he was talking about bringing them to market. I asked him if I could have a pair to help him with his testing, but I guess he wanted me to pay for them or something. [&:]
Well, they are available for 2x4 and 4x4, but not cheap. Close to $1000 depending on coating. The set I asked him about was going to be $899, plus $68 for optional x-pipe. He said a dyno (not done by him) for these headers on a stock RT yielded 28.4 HP and 41 ft/lb torque. He did confirm that they have a set for 4x4 Ram's, but not for 4x4 Dakotas.
