Sometimes while i am idling at a light and take my foot off the gas the oil pressure needle drops..And then a light go's on saying check gages.if i press on the gas pedal and revve it up some it the needle go's back to normal and the check gage light go's off...any ideas??

 

There are several other posts about low oil pressure and the oil pressure light coming on under the 2nd Gen category. do a search and read those posts. I've already looked at 3 others today with the same issue so you'll probably find the answer you need.

 

exact same happened to me.

Spun bearing, metal flakes everywhere, new engine. dealer paid half. me happy.
