Hey if I didn't give you guys something to read this place would get boring! Anyway, so I did some searches and I'm having trouble understanding death flashes, pinging, plenemum leaks etc. My truck runs great how it is right now, its a 98 5.9L, but I'm never one to reject more power, so if I buy a hyptertech chip am I going to screw anything up?

Hypertech isn't a chip ... it's a programmer. You won't mess anything up but you will see more gains with each improvement.
