Default Better mpg and shifting

Hey guys, yesterday I had my junky cat replaced with a new high flow from magna flow and I also changed the ATF to Valvoline Synthetic ATF. I filled her up and drove 32 miles highway at about my normal speed of 66-67 mph. When I got back into town I filled her up and hand calculated my mpg for my little trip. It came out to 17.86 mpg. I have a 2WD with the 360. I'm posting this cause I thought I might share the info. The valvoline stuff really made my tranny happy. THe shifts are way more precise and so smooth it'll make you want to cry. My project for monday, changing the rear end gear oil to royal purple 75/140. Laters.

goto the gas station, fill'er up all the way. Then reset you trip-o-meter. The next take you goto the station, fill'er up again and take the miles your drove by the number of gallons you pumped like mine last night was 32 miles divided by 1.8 gallons.

mileage / how much gallons it took to fill up... Of course shorter runs and a fill up will yield a greater mpg... but do it to a full tank and mite see something different.. city driving im seeing 14.5 mpg..Amsoil !

32 miles divided by 1.8 gallons? You can't derive an accurate miles per gallon computation that way. Might want to try again.
