Default 1 ton wheel cylinder upgrade questions

I had saved the post by Burning Rom for the 1 ton wheel cylinder swap. Iwas thinking about doingit this coming weekend but wanted to make sure of a couple of things. When I went to NAPA's website, the part # 4637337 didn't pull up. So I did a search for 99 1 Ton GMC and found part # 37337 that states 1 3/16's cylinder bore. Looking at the specs for this it shows the line thread size as M10x1. I looked up my truck and it shows the line thread size as 3/8 x 24. I suck at conversion from SAE to metric so can someone tell me if these are the same? Is this upgrade even for a 1/2 ton truck or was this only for 3/4 tons going to a 1 ton wheel cylinder? Any help or advise is appreciated. I have to replace my rear shoes this weekend and figured it would be a good time to do this upgrade also. Thanks guys. Jeff.

The mod is for 1/2 tons, too ... bolt right in. Make sure you get the wheel cylinders for the GM 1 ton dually ... they've got a bigger bore than the singles. I'm not sure if the model year matters all that much.

Well, baby got some new shoes and an upgraded wheel cylinder today. Man what a change. Thanks to the forum and the information here, my truck just gets better every day. I know, I'm behind everybody else on the upgrades, but I came to the party late. I'll catch up. Jeff.
