Clean up the throttle body and the IAC (on the back side of the TB). The IAC controls the idle speed.

My truck does this when the battery dies, it takes a few min for it to right itself, I was thinking its just my computer re-adjusting

ok well i cleaned the TB and I even unpluged the IAC and it still wats to idle really low after i press the gasand let it idle downi even cleaned the PVC vavle and then cleaned the battery and tested the battery so im stumped

so im guessing the IAC could still be the problem

Could possibly be the fuel filter

Could be IAC or TPS as well.

The IAC may be defective ... or the TPS could be defective ... or it may just need to be calibrated.
