My tranny is fried!
i was going down the interstate, and i noticed my T/C wouldnt lock up...
hasnt been locking up for the past 2 days...
i keep driving about 10 miles later, i was pulling into a neighborhood
and it shuddered VERY BADLY and almost made the wheels lock up completely...
and was making weird noises in transmission, SSSSSSssssssss sounds... hydraulic
noises and i am scared to drive it since...
fluid was very dark in color and pieces of friction bands was in bottom of
pan, smelled dirty/and burned.
fluid was changed about a month ago...
WHY ME?!??!?
ihave a 95 dodge 1500 5.2L 46RH

anyone got a tranny they wanna sell, 5 speed or AUTO??
or info on what EXACTLY is the problem or anyone think it is just the T/C?

my condolences. look on the bright side - now you can stop worrying about what to do with your tax return. admit it - you were wanting a performance transmission anyway.
