2000 Ram2500 5.9/Auto 77,000miles. Been looking on this site for info. regarding tranny slipping. Got some great info. Went to change fluid and filter along with band adjustments. Rear band adjustment went fine no problems. Tried to adjust front band, adjuster went in at least flush with locknut and I stopped. Band broken?? Seemed to shift musch better with rear adjuster done. Put front adjuster back to original setting. Filled w/ ATF-4. Any suggestions?? I do tow a toy hauler 26' 2-3 times a year. Is is time to get a tranny upgrade?
