Where to buy factory roof lights
i bought it from dodge it was like 89 bucks when i bought it less than 100 i just went in and said i need the roof lights and when i got the kit had all 5 lenses and the wiring the one thing i did was to when i went to put them on the roof they give u these stupid little clips that are supposed to expand into the hole u drill into the roof but they dont really work that well so i went to home depot and got like 2 1/2 inch long stainless screws and had someone hold the nut inside the cab while i tightened them down got it clamped onto the roof flush never leaked only problem is i would have to drop the headliner if a bulb went out
my buddy just went to a truck stop and bought those roof lights for 35 bucks... came with wiring, switch, bulbs, and the lenses. and it looks good... i recommond doing that.
i just wired them to the wire that dims the overhead comp and temp i read the manual and it used the same wire just a diff guage so i hooked it after the connector

Well I went to the Recon Website and ordered a set of the smoked clearance lights today. The guy was very nice and even gave me a 10% discount. I hope it's not going to be too hard wiring these babies though, as I've heard that they don't come with a template like the factory kit does and some people say that the harness is all the way under the dash.
I have a clear set of cab lights from Recon, it sucked not having a template, wiring, or screws. I took measurements off a friends Ram with factory cab lights and measured it out on mine. I ended up wiring mine to their own switch, I know others have tapped into their park lights power wires and others. One last thing, since no mounting screws came with the kit either,I did like Scottr1110 and went with the 2 1/2" stainless screws, but I JB Welded the nuts to the underside of the roof, that way I shouldn't have to drop the headliner if I ever need to replace a light
