tranny question

I have a 1995 1500 w/OD. how do I find out what has the right t-mission in it to swap out whether it be a car or truck, All local resorces have no trannies availible, I'd like to find a wrecked vehicle and swap. any thoughts on this would be appriciated. the truck in question has 259000 miles on it and the engine runs super.

Unless it's behind a V6 ... then it's a 42RH ... 46 MIGHT fit ... dunno.
