Fuel line leaking at fuel rail
I have a 97 RAM 1500 with the 360. Has anyone besides me had the fuel supply line fitting where it plugs into the fuel rail leak? Dodge says the O-rings only come with a new fuel rail for $368....ouch! Where you able to find a source for the O-rings that are the correct size and material? I have been to Advnced Auto, Autozone and NAPA and no luck. The multi O-ring kits I have found do not have the correct size.
Thanks for any help,
Dan

Probably cheaper to go to the junkyard and pay $35 for a used fuel rail, go to the parts store and but new injector seals, and install the 'new' used rail. I've never had the leak you're describing but I did replace my fuel rail once this way.
Are you serious? I bought new O-Rings for my 318 at O'Reilly Auto Parts. Try this source as well: http://www.rockauto.com
They can get almost ANYTHING for a vehicle.

I agree with Dan Newby. If all you need is new O-rings go to any parts store. I have bought a few sets right at my hometown NAPA. They are not expensive; Here is NAPA's link for them.

I think this package includes 2 or 4 o-rings so you need to purchase multiple packs.

have you ever tried taking the line off there? if you or somone has without the special tool the line will be ruined.

Did that with mine and haven't had any leaks.Trending Topics
there are a couple of different lines that connect to the fuel rail. his problem however is in the line, not the rail as there is no o-ring on the rail, it's in the line. yank out the o-ring and go match it up either at the autoparts store or hardware store. I've found several o-rings at the hardware stores and never had a problem with them... used on fuel injectors & the fuel rail.
