also if your doing single out exhaust, 3" max on size (i'd recommend it) or dual out's 2.25" max on outputs (highly recommend it) I had a dual out 50 series and it was awesome, i'd imagine with the 70 series, it'll be just a little bit louder than stock.

Steve, how was your cab noise with the 50?
Ihad already planned on 3" exhaust, my muffler shop has not called back with any info on Magnaflow or Dynomax-that's why I'm curious about the Dynomax Turbo kit at Summit Racingas opposed to Ultra-Flow muffler with my muffler shop doingthe piecemeal,
installation work. I like the sound of the Dynomax line-the Flowmaster 70 on their website sounds asthmatic! My main concern is cab noise and how it would be with the Dyno-Turbo vs. the Dyno-Ultra Flow.
Thanks for the input.

Is anyone running the Dynomax Turbo muffler as opposed to the Ultra-Flow? How do you like it?

I just got off the phone with Dynomax and was informed the Turbos were quieter. I'd like to have the low mellow tone and very little cab noise.

I have flowmaster 40 with 2 1/4 in pipes and 3in tips and my wife doesn't mind it to much(she doesn't like vroom, vroom) and it still sounds goood. You might get away with even smaller tips or no tips.

Not on a Dodge, but we installed a single in single out 2.5" both ends Dynomax Turbo in dad's '78 F150 400CI. The exhaust note is a very mellow rumble that is slightly noticeable to everyone except those in the cab. The only time I could really hear it was with all windows open going by a brick wall. It is very nice if you want something slightly louder then stock, but no drone or in cab noise to speak of. After doing a lot of research I have decided to go with the Ultra-Flow Welded single in dual 2.5 or 3 out on my 2500

Thanks for the info. Like you and after your reply,I'm going with either the Ultra-Flow welded or the Magnaflow. Something about the straight thru design appeals to me!
