torque converter fun
I need a new torque converter for a stock 96 1500 with a 46re auto transmission. I dont really want to pay the dealers price but cant seem to cross the converter with any off of the parts places websites. Advance auto (I get a discount there...lol) only has converters for a727, a518, a904, a500, and a618. Can I use any of these or can anyone point me to a good souce for a converter? Thanks for any help!

IIRC ... a 46RH/E used to be known as an a518. Look here for more info: http://www.transmissioncenter.net/dodge.htm
