Woo-hoo!!
How'ja know that's what I wanted to hear? From the directions, I shouldn't have to cut anything on the new kit!!
Thanks for the prompt reply, bring your experience with you to help me mount it, and I might have a cold brew for you!

I salute you, thanks for your service! I restored a 1952 Dodge M37 complete with replica .50 cal Browning. I wasn't in the service but dedicate itto those of you who are and were. I will post pics later today.
Thanks for the exhaust help!

Didn't see that one, there was another called "Military Might" built by a man in NC I believe. I want to say his name was Cabell Garbee.

Anyway, did the Summit exhaust have 3"center inlet and offset outlet muffler? Was it 5" X 8" or other dimension. I want to replace it with a Magnaflow 12289 which is 5" X 8" X 24" body-30" overall and want to make sure my inlet and outlet are in the right positions.

Im going to tell you from my experience the Summit kit didn't fit well at all. Once you modify it at all you own it for good too. Just something to think about though. I got it on there but the fit was terrible, I even took it to a very trusted exhaust shop here and they said there was no way it could work. I am a mechanic by trade but I stay away from exhaust and this is exactly why. The guys that do it are really good at it and as far as I am concerned its worth the extra money to just let them do it.

2001mustang
Were your Summit muffler inlet and outlet center and offset respectfully? What were its dimensions?
Thanks.
