Default Question on re-gearing

I have a 2001 Dodge Ram sport 4x4, 5.2L V8. I'm running a skyjacker 5" lift with 315/75/16 BFG's. I'm wanting to re-gear my truck to get a little more acceleration, power and mileage out of it. I was just wondering what the best gear ratio would be to get and where to buy from? I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible, but would like to use quality parts.

i'm planning about the same setup, going to be running 4.56 gears...should be about the same as running stock 245's with 3.91 gears. if you have stock 3.55 gears, you'll have to either change your front carrier or use a thick gear (carrier only accepts up to 3.73 std gears). brand...yukon, precision, something like that...don't know what their prices are like, but randy's ring and pinion will have all you want.

I am running that same setup and just had 4.56 yukon gears installed. acceleration has drastically improved but I have no milage updates to post yet.
