I rode in a brand new from the dealer 06 Ram Sport with a 5.7l hemi and was not impressed at all. It had stock tires and all on it and honestly my 01 with a 360 and 33" tires felt just as fast if not faster. I was considering upgrading until I rode it in and it changed my mind and made me realize how much I like my truck. My trucks preformance mods include a Edlebrock air hat, MSD plug wires, and Flowmaster single in dual out muffler so not really anything that would add a big amount of power.

Now on the other hand a buddy has a Silverado 2500 with the 6.0L and it's pretty impressive to me. Way faster than the Hemi Ram and my truck. It seems to have a fair amount of get up and go.

Wow I didnt realize that the Hemi's seemed underpowered. I had always just thought that they were powerhouses. Course, I have never rode in one or anything. Thats was just my impression on it.

they are not true hemi's
they are polyspherical combustion chambers......for emissions

combustion chamber is slightly flatter and less "bowl-shaped" than the classic 1964 architecture

right on...and i like the term polyspherical too. makes me think that it looks dimpled like a golf ball.
