windshield wiper problem
when I turn off my wipers while they are running they stop wherever they are instead of returning back down to their normal off position. not that big of a deal but it is a pain in the azz. My clock spring is also broke....AGAIN[:@]the dealer that did the recall better fix it again for free. Any ideas on the wiper problem? I know the clock spring will kill your cruise control but I don't think it would affect the wiper switch, right?

RE: windshield wiper problem
the mechanism that stops the wipers in the down position is called the 'park circuit'. its a seperate wire (blue maybe) in the 4 wire harness going to the wiper motor. (hi speed, low speed, park circuit, and ground). when you turn the wipers off, it somehows keep power on until the motor rotates around to the park position. i'm not sure where the power for the park circuit comes from. high and low speed come from the switch to the relays under the hood. so other than providing some useless info, i'm no help.
