Carfax isn't worth the $ IMO. I got sucked in and only found out how many oil changes the original owner had done, I'm the third owner. Carfax won't show anything unless someone sends them the info on the vehicle.

 

I think its worth it, I did it when I got my truck...

Showed me how many owners, how many acidents, how long each owner had it... you can learn alot.

I would want to avaoid cars that started out as rentals, becasue rental cars pretty much are beat on....

 

rentals and Dealer loaners are the worst cars to get into as they are almost always ratbagged.

 

Does anyone know what a US Fleet vehicle is?

My truck was owned for 15 days, and used as a fleet vehicle...
Carfax said they put 12,000 miles on it in 15 days. lol.
