Default Brake Pads
I was going to change my front pads soon, and was wondering if there were any brands that are superior?

I can't give you any input on brands, but IIRC the "premium" pads do last longer and make less brake dust on your wheels.
Maybe someone has a good comparison to answer your brand question.
