aight i jus got a question here im gittin ready to put true duals on my truck im gonna have them cut the cat off and put glasspacks on and i was wonderin what that would do to my gas mileage

I would say that it would decrease and also your truck will sound like 2 four bangers fightin each other. It would decrease gas mileage because you will no longer gave the scavenging effect in the exhaust system. Thats why most guys put A crossover pipe in a true dual exhaust

I had this same thing done to my 1500 sport. My mpg went up from 11 to 13 mpg.

I've got true duals with 40 series flowmasters. I can't stand the nasty 1970's popping sound of glass packs so I went with flowmasters. I have no cat also. It sounds like a pro street chevelle if i'm rodding it. I like it alot.

I have about the same set up as junkman306 but I have magnflow mufflers. It's load and has just a little cackle to it. I'll try and get you a sound clip of it up tonight.

alright i jus went to larrys which is the exhaust shop and i told him i wanted true duals ran to the back into glass packs and out the sides and he told me he would cut the cat off and put all that other stuff on and 3 1/2" tips for $250....i think thats a pretty good deal...what u guys think

The O2 sensor was remounted into the exhaust.. I was told that I would probably get an CE light because there is no cat but it's been about 8 months and no light.
