I have a 2001 Ram 1500 ext. cab swb 4x4 w/ offroad package. I replaced the track bar and all 4 shocks with KYB Monomax. The front end is better but still seems to ride harsh or shimmy in wavey or slightly rough sections of road. Tires are also brand new and have maybe 100 miles on the. This was happening before I replaced the tires. Is this just the normal ride for this truck?

 

Have you cheked your wheel bearings, this will allow the tire to have some play back and forth if they are bad. You should also probably make sure all your joints are good, like for the tie rods and such.

 

id say try replaceing your steering damper
