Blew up the 3.9
I snapped the crank in my 2000 3.9l ram. I was about to rebuild when a friend mentioned he has a 5.2 out of a 94 with harness and pcm. What problems should I expect to run into with one being obd 2 and the other obd 1. I am missing the power from my old 94 318 since moving on to a 2000 3.9 standard trans. Suprisingly enough fuel mileage was the same between the two.
If the 318 PCM was set up for an auto, may have to flash it for the stick. I realize in 94 it would have still been an RH, but there's still lockup/OD. Also the 94 would still have had EGR, probably just block that off. Can't think of anything else off the top, but i'm sure there'll be other issues.
