Front axle seal, passenger side. Help
Recently I changed the u-joint on this side, well a day or two later got fluid coming out. So I gave some more time just to make sure that it was not just residual fluid working it's way out.
What I do not understand is that if this shaft connects to another and the seal is in the differential how could I have possibly damaged it, being that if I am correct I was not even pushing it that far in?

the passenger side seal is on the outer edge of the cad. the 2 halves of the passenger side axle connect to each other inside the cad unit, which is bathed in oil. only the drivers side axle seal is inside the differential pumpkin.
yes, you access the seal through the cad housing. seal is removed by removing outer axle and tapping against seal with pipe or rod. seal is reinstalled with a long tool, which can be made from threaded rod to seat the seal.
