I was also wondering if I needed to get rear bumper brackets with the body lift. It doesn't come with the kit I want, so I was wondering it it was needed for the lift

skyjacker or superlift have bolt on kits that are 5.5" for your truck. The also have a 7" kit. 99 and up used bigger control arm bushings so there is a slight difference, but i think they just give you bigger bolts if you have the newer years. As for the 6" kit...you won't notice much difference in heigh form a 5.5" kit. Try www.rockymontainsusp.com they have all the suspension kits you can think of...even have RCD...i think they make a 6" bolt on kit. As for the rear bumper bracket. You can get it butthe bumperwill be useless for towing then, i wouldn't worry about that fact if you already have a hitch. Obviously you'll have a gap on the rear bumper, so if you don't want the gap buy the bracket. You can also drill new holes and lift the bumper 2" for free minus a drill bit or two. If you don't want to drill your frame you can just stick a piece of diamond plate there.
